I was honoured to be chosen by Tracy at It's a T-Sweets Day! to supply this month's bake along recipe, my grandma's famous (in my family anyway) Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.
I was so excited a few weeks ago to learn that I had won the first prize in Julia's giveaway at Julia's Creative Year. I am a little embarrassed to say that when she contact me I had actually kind of forgotten that I had entered. I usually enter these things, and assume that I won't win, so I don't keep track of them, I guess I should because I seem to be on more of a lucky streak lately.
Saturday August 5th was day two of Romancing the Capital 2017 (RTC) a romance author/reader event organized by Eve Langlais which takes place in Ottawa, Ontario. This is the third year for the conference, and my second year attending. The conference is a small one compared to some others, from what I understand (this is the only one I’ve attended personally), but it gives readers the opportunity to really mingle with the authors in attendance and get to know them a little better.
Today is Father's Day, and although he is no longer with us, I remember that my dad used to make the most fantastic pizza when I was a kid. I'm dedicating my pizza to him, although it is definitely different than what he would have made! Now, let's get started!
I have had very little time this week to devote to crafting, or anything else really, work has been keeping me busy day and night .
