Only a few more days left for my Advent Calendar! In some ways I'll miss blogging every day, and in others I'll be happy to go back to my average of 2-3 posts per week. It's been hard to find time to craft since I started blogging about tea every day, so as a result, my blog has been pretty craft free this month. And I have to say, I'm feeling the pain! I think I'm going through craft withdrawal or something!

It's no secret to most of my friends that of the so called regular types of tea, Earl Grey is my favourite. I was intrigued then, to see that today's tea is Cream of Earl Grey. I'm pretty sure I haven't tried it before, and it surprises me, because if I had seen it, I'm pretty sure I would have bought some based on the name alone.
I was late getting my pie filling for this week's Bake Along, I only picked it up this morning and didn't get making my tarts until late this afternoon. In fact, I just finished baking them about an hour ago! So instead of posting two separate, almost simultaneous posts, one for my Tea Advent Calendar and the other for the Fantastic Bake Along, I thought I would do one double duty post.
We certainly have enough snow in Ottawa for a Sleigh Ride, an interesting name for a tea. This one is a fruit infusion and contains cinnamon, apples, raisins, almonds, hibiscus blossoms, pineapple, coconut and popped rice. (That last one gave me a start, I thought there were bits of popcorn in the tea when I opened the tin and dumped the mixture into the infuser.)
