Off Kilter is book 3 in Cathryn Fox’s romcom series, Hot Scots in Kilts, and it’s another hilariously funny entry in the series.
Rachel is looking for a father figure for her young son, and a man about the house who can help her tackle household issues that she doesn’t know how to resolve herself….like getting rid of the family of racoons from her attic.
Tavish a former MMA champion has relocated to Boston from Scotland and is working for a friend at Kilting Around, a trendy Boston pub, and making furniture in his spare time.
When a mutual friend talks Rachel into signing on with his new Daddy for Hire business, Tavish offers up his services, and soon sparks are flying between Tavish and Rachel.
Off Kilter was a very enjoyable story, made more so by the relationship between this big, bad, MMA fighter, and Rachel’s son, Lucas…not to mention Fluffy. There were quite a few steamy moments, and a number of incidents that had me laughing out loud. Mixed in with the romance and comedy, this pair also had to work through some more serious personal issues in order to finally find their happiness together.
I recommend Off Kilter if you’re looking for a light, fun read, and a hot Scot in a kilt riding around on a motorcycle.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Off Kilter releases today, June 15th 2023.
