I Finally Hung My Tea Shelf!

As some of you may know (if you were around at Christmas for the 24 days of tea posts that I did), I love tea. So much that my blog has tea in its name, even though my tea posts are fairly few and far between.

About a year ago, a lady from near my old hometown posted a photo on her Facebook business page, Dragonfly Handmade, showing a shelf she had made for her daughter’s David’s Tea collection. Now, my collection of David’s Tea looked to be about the same size, so I contacted her and commissioned a shelf.

Recipes – Earl Grey Loaf

I found this recipe book on sale a few years ago, and being the lover of tea that I am I just had to have it. The problem is, that I have never actually made anything out of it, so the other day when I came across it on my bookshelf, I decided it was time to change that. I browsed through it and came across this recipe for Earl Grey Loaf. Now Earl Grey tea is one of my favourite teas, so this decision was a no-brainer.

Tea Advent Calendar Day 24 – Santa’s Secret

It’s the final day for my Advent Calendar and it feels kind of bitter sweet. I have enjoyed sharing my tea with you all each day, and I will miss that, however, it was also tough some days to find the time to post. Now for today’s tea which is appropriately named Santa’s Secret.

Tea Advent Calendar Day 23 – White Cranberry Bark

Only one more day to go in my Advent calendar, and today’s tea is White Cranberry Bark, a fruit infusion with dried cranberries and white chocolate. It also contains dried papaya, apples, raisins, elderberries, and hibiscus blossoms. The mixture sounded delicious when I read the description.

Tea Advent Calendar Day 22 – Candy Cane Crush

Today’s tea is truly Christmasy with chunks of peppermint flavoured white chocolate, pieces of crushed candy cane, and snowflake shaped candies, mixed with black tea. Although I’m not a huge fan of any kind of mint, I do like a good candy cane once in a while, so I looked forward to trying this tea. I think it has actually been a seasonal tea at David’s Tea for a couple of years, but I don’t recall having tried it.
