Hot Chocolate is a mixture of pu’erh and black tea, and is the only chocolate tea I have ever tried, and actually liked. I have been a fan for a couple of years, so when I pulled the drawer this evening and saw it I was very happy. Only 3 more days left in the Advent Calendar, and although I had a quick peek at a few last week, I didn’t look at all of the upcoming flavours, so I’m anxious to see what the remaining days have in store.
Only a few more days left for my Advent Calendar! In some ways I’ll miss blogging every day, and in others I’ll be happy to go back to my average of 2-3 posts per week. It’s been hard to find time to craft since I started blogging about tea every day, so as a result, my blog has been pretty craft free this month. And I have to say, I’m feeling the pain! I think I’m going through craft withdrawal or something!
Cute name for today’s tea, it made me giggle a bit when I saw it. The Spice is Right is a green tea, and when I opened the tin, to smell it, it smelled strongly of cinnamon and cloves. Again. It’s no secret to most of my friends that of the so called regular types of tea, Earl Grey is my favourite. I was intrigued then, to see that today’s tea is Cream of Earl Grey. I’m pretty sure I haven’t tried it before, and it surprises me, because if I had seen it, I’m pretty sure I would have bought some based on the name alone.
I was late getting my pie filling for this week’s Bake Along, I only picked it up this morning and didn’t get making my tarts until late this afternoon. In fact, I just finished baking them about an hour ago! So instead of posting two separate, almost simultaneous posts, one for my Tea Advent Calendar and the other for the Fantastic Bake Along, I thought I would do one double duty post.
