Tea Advent Calendar Day 16 – Sleigh Ride

We certainly have enough snow in Ottawa for a Sleigh Ride, an interesting name for a tea. This one is a fruit infusion and contains cinnamon, apples, raisins, almonds, hibiscus blossoms, pineapple, coconut and popped rice. (That last one gave me a start, I thought there were bits of popcorn in the tea when I opened the tin and dumped the mixture into the infuser.)

Tea Advent Calendar Day 15 – Raspberry Cream Pie

Raspberry Cream Pie is a Rooibos Tea, and is a new flavour for me. David’s Tea describes Raspberry Cream Pie as a “creamy blend of rooibos, raspberries and white chocolate”. Sounds good doesn’t it? I certainly thought so, and I was excited to give it a try.

Tea Advent Calendar Day 14 – Lemon Pound Cake

I have to tell you, this one smells so, so, yummy, it almost makes me want to run out and buy some real pound cake. Or I could just sit and smell the tea in the tin all day, and dream about it! The description for Lemon Pound Cake says it’s a buttery, citrus oolong. Oolong is one of my favourite types, so I have high hopes for this tea. Plus as already stated, it smells heavenly..lemony, sweet, and creamy. Yum!

Tea Advent Calendar Day 13 – Organic Cinnamon Rooibos Chai

Well, I wasn’t thrilled when I saw today’s tea, Organic Cinnamon Rooibos Chai, especially after the last tea which had a lot of cinnamon. Don’t get me wrong, I love cinnamon, but in some things a little goes a long way, and in most cases, tea is one of those things.

Tea Advent Calendar Day 12 – Coffee Pu’erh

Today’s tea was Coffee Pu’erh. What? You don’t think coffee and tea belong together? I used to feel that way, and while it wouldn’t be my every day choice, one of my favourite teas is one called jumpy Monkey, which contains coffee beans.
