Review: The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth

Book The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth

The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth is a thriller which will make you wonder how far you would go, and what you would take to be with the person you love.

Pippa, Gabe, and their two young daughters moved to a home on the cliffs of a small coastal town, hoping to make a new start but not realizing that their new home is the sight of a popular suicide spot. After several months, Gabe has become known for saving the lives of several people who have shown up to end their own lives, but when a woman falls to her death, Pippa starts wondering if her death really was a suicide.

Like most of these thrillers, the reader doesn’t have the full story of how Gabe and Pippa came to have to start over in a new town, but as the story goes on we get more and more details about their relationship, and the happenings that brought them to this supposed dream home. As in most relationships, everything is not as it seems on the outside.

I really enjoyed this book, I picked it up on a Saturday afternoon and finished it before bed, I just did not want to put it down. I haven’t ready any of Sally Hepworth’s other novels but after this one I’ll be giving them a try.
