Review: Mail Order Minotaur by Lilith Stone

Mail Order Minotaur is book 1 in Lilith Stone’s Motham City Monsters series.

I wasn’t sure what I was getting into with this book about Ivy, a shy human tour guide, and Bryn, a minotaur and owner of a male escort agency, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance.

Ivy meets Bryn while conducting an impromptu tour of a seedier side of Motham and get her into trouble with some of the monsters living there. She is from a wealthy, privileged, human family, and Bryn is from a poor, underprivileged minotaur family. In this world monsters have been segregated, and treated as less than by humans.

I felt that the world building and variety of characters in the book were well done.

Bryn and Ivy’s story was both sweet and a little spicy, and not without conflict due to their backgrounds. I was not honestly sure how they were going to get their happy ending given the difficulties, mostly on Ivy’s side.

I recommend this book to lovers of paranormal romance, and for myself, I’ll be looking for the next book in this series.

I received an advance review copy of this book from Book Sirens and this review is my honest opinion of the book.

Mail Order Minotaur releases on October 9 2023 on Amazon and will be included in the Kindle Unlimited program.
