Bean Wishing for a Latte Love by Tia Marlee is book three in the multi-author Coffee Loft series.
Bean Wishing for a Latte Love is about Knox and Lacey. He is an ER doctor who recently moved to town to take care of his toddler nephew after the sudden deaths of his sister and brother-in-law. She is a blue haired barista with plans to eventually open up a drop in center for young children.
Bean Wishing for a Latte Love is written for dual points of view, which I really enjoyed, because I love knowing what’s going on in the heads of both the hero and heroine in a romance.
Matti (Matthias) , Knox’s young nephew was adorable. He seemed pretty well adjusted considering the death of his parents was very recent. I also loved the teoublemaking dog, Flower. Matti and Flower stole the show in a few of their scenes.
This was a really lovely romcom, pretty low angst, and not very spicy at all. I enjoyed watching he relationship develop between Knox and Lacey, and loved the epilogue, it was like the icing on the cake.
