A Corpse Among the Carolers is book 7 in Debra Sennefelder’s Food Blogger cozy mystery series. Although it is book 7 in the series, it’s easily read as a standalone.
Hope Early is a food blogger who somehow keeps getting pulled into investigating murders. It’s Christmas in Jefferson Connecticut, and the town is going all out to celebrate. Unfortunately, their Christmas spirit is squashed when Santa turns up dead on the Jingle Bell Stroll.
Jefferson is full of interesting characters, and cute little shops. And like many small town stories, everyone seems to know everyone and their business. If it weren’t for the murders that keep happening, it sounds like a great place to live!
A Corpse Among the Carolers was full of twists and turns, new characters and possible motives, that kept the mystery interesting, and me guessing to the very end.
And As a bonus, at the end the author included some of the recipes mentioned in the book! Personally, I really want to try the eggnog scones. Yum!
If you love a good mystery, set in a town with a great community spirit, then give The Corpse Among the Carollers a try!
