ARC Review: Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf by Isabelle Taylor

Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is Isabelle Taylor’s fun  first entry in her new Claw Haven paranormal romance series.

Luna, a human, finds herself stranded in the small town of Claw Haven during a snowstorm. There she meets Oliver, a werewolf, and accidentally drinks a bonding potion which causes them to have to stay in close proximity to each other.

While I enjoyed the book overall, there were a few things that bothered me. My first issue was with Luna as she vacillated between being sweet and helpful, to spoiled and self-absorbed. It got a bit tiring after a while.

I also really didn’t like that Luna was engaged to someone else until the very end of the book. Yeah, he gave her his blessing to sleep with Oliver, but to be honest, that almost felt worse to me. I didn’t enjoy that aspect of the book at all, and it kind of gave me the ick every time Luna and Oliver were together.

Other than that, I enjoyed the situations they were forced into due to the forced proximity, Oliver’s family members were great side characters, and the people in the town were interesting.

I would recommend this book to lovers of monster romance, or romcoms, it was a quick, fun read and I’ll probably look for the next book in the series.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
