I failed in my quest this past week, to find another recipe to post here. Not that I didn’t come across any awesome recipes, I just didn’t get to make any of the ones I came across. Work has been keeping me busy a little later than usual each day, so I’ve been making do with simple dishes, with salad since my cooking time has been more limited.
Since there is no fabulous recipe, this will be a quick and simple update. I’m so happy to tell you all that I lost 1.6 pounds this week, making my total loss to date 70.3 pounds! And, I lost another daily Smart Point, so I’m now at the lowest level that the Weight Watchers plan has for dailies. From what I understand, from this point on, I will start to lose weekly points, but that’s okay, because I only occasionally dip into those anyway.
I can’t tell you how happy it made me last week to finally be over that halfway point, and on my way to making my ultimate goal. I have been very lucky so far to have the support of friends and family on my journey, and I count all of my supporters here among those friends. Knowing that someone out there is reading about my journey inspires me to continue on, and I try to encourage others who are on a similar journey.
I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me so far, and I hope you continue to bear with me for the rest of my journey. I know the second half will be tough, maybe tougher than the first half, as I get closer to my goal. But I am determined to get there!
