This week’s post is going to be short and sweet, because I’m on vacation for the week, and I am trying to make the most of it. I did however want to share my awesome news! As many of you may already know, Monday’s are my weigh in day, so Christmas morning I stepped on the scales and this happened!
Yes, that’s right! I met my end of year goal of reaching 200 pounds! That means I’ve lost 86 pounds in 43 weeks. I have 50 more to go to my ultimate goal, and I want to say thank you for everyone who follows my blog for being so supportive, and hanging in with me for almost that whole time.
This is me and my furbaby, Truffles, on Christmas Day. The snow continued to fall here in Ottawa so I didn’t get to visit my family in Kingston, but we chatted online and on the phone. Instead, Truffles and I relaxed at home, where it was cosy and warm. I hope you all got to spend time with your families!
.
Congratulations Kate, that is an amazing milestone to reach. They is a lovely photo of you and Truffles ❤

My crockpot died o I thought I would try it. I still have my small crockpot, I wondered how the pressure cooker measured up. And I really want to try making yogurt, lol.

One of my goals is to use my crock pot more. I was tempted to buy myself a yogurt maker🤣

You look FABULOUS!!! I haven’t been with you from the start, but I see the difference in your face, and your lifestyle changes have been so sensible and long term. I am hopeful that some of the chronic pain is also waning with less stress on your body. Enjoy a much deserved vacation celebrating this milestone!

Thanks! Unfortunately I think my pain issues are here to stay, but my massage therapist helps with that. I do feel much better, both physically, and mentally though. It has been a mostly good year for me, and I’m thankful for that!

Thanks! Since I’m hoping to make this a long term lifestyle change, I need to be able to fit in the things I love…including yummy baked goods. I’m glad it’s working so far.
