I know I keep saying this, but I can hardly believe it’s coming up on a year since I started back to Weight Watchers, and soon after, it will be a whole year since I started this blog! I’m so happy about the progress I’ve made on my weight loss journey, and the friends I’ve made through my blog.
Now for my weekly progress report. Last week I was .3 pounds away from my next milestone of 90 pounds. I’m happy to report that this week, I have lost a further 1.1 pounds, and have now surpassed that 90 pound milestone! I’ve now lost 90.8 pounds, with 45.2 to go, so I’m almost exactly 2/3 of the way to my ultimate goal! Sorry for all the exclamation marks, but it’s pretty exciting for me!
A couple of weeks ago I found this awesome recipe for Buffalo Turkey Cheeseburgers from Skinny Taste and I decided that I had to try them. For a change, I didn’t make many substitutions in the burger recipe itself. Really the only change I made was to use regular seasoned bread crumbs, but only because I didn’t have any whole wheat ones on hand.(Please ignore that it looks burnt, it really isn’t, it was just the bit of olive oil I sprayed in the pan that turned dark.)
To cut down on a few points, I did not add cheese to the top of my burgers, and I also did not make the blue cheese slaw. Instead, I served my burgers on everything flatbread, and topped them with a bit of three cheese dressing that I had, and some red onion. I can’t tell you how delicious these were, I will definitely be making them again. I may even make the slaw!
