It’s day 5 and it’s a Glitter & Gold day! Glitter and Gold is a black tea and has been a regular Christmas tea for David’s Tea for at least the past 4 years since I discovered them. It’s one of my favourites, and is known for the gold star shaped sprinkles in the tea that help to sweeten it up. This tea smells slightly spicy when opening it due to the cloves in it.

Tea Advent Calendar Day 4 – Organic Silk Dragon Jasmine
I was so excited this evening when I opened the little drawer for the 4th and found Organic Silk Dragon Jasmine tea! I love teas with Jasmine, in fact one of my favourite teas is a Jasmine Oolong.
Tea Advent Calendar Day 3 – Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait
It was a super busy day for me today. I drove from Ottawa to Kingston to visit with my cousin who is visiting from Calgary, then it was back home to Ottawa. Then I got news that there were problems replacing the hard drive in my work laptop, so I have to pick it up at the office tomorrow, and then take it back on Friday to have the hard drive replaced next weekend. Needless to say, it’s been a bit of a stressful day, so I was glad when I finally arrived home, and was able to sit down for my evening tea.
Tea Advent Calendar Day 2 – Chocolate Macaroon
It’s day 2 of my Tea Advent Calendar, and I was a little disappointed when I saw today’s tea selection which is Chocolate Macaroon. Chocolate Macaroon is a black tea with coconut, chocolate and pecans. Now, I’ve only found one chocolate tea that I’ve actually enjoyed over the years (Hot Chocolate by David’s Tea), plus I’m not a big fan of coconut, hence my disappointment.
