Week 29, and I’m still going strong. Sometimes this surprises me, because there were a few times in the last few years that I thought I was ready to commit to losing weight and getting healthy, but it just didn’t work out. Having struggled with this in the past, I know that for me, I have to really be in a specific mental space in order to make that commitment to myself, and apparently, I was finally back in that space this time around.

My Weight Loss Journey – Week 25
As expected I had a slower week than last week, but still a successful one. Part of that is my own laziness, because I was not very active last week, but even so, I lost .9 pounds for a total of 54.1 pounds! I have to say that it feels great to put on a freshly laundered t-shirt and not have to pull and stretch it until it feels comfortable. Not to mention, I can wear jeans and actually relax in them, and not feel like I’m squeezed into them. And now on to the good stuff!

It’s time for me weekly update! Since I ate out so much during week 23, I was very mindful of what I was eating this week. I was also mindful of my water intake, and tried to get a little more active since I’ve been slacking again, and it has paid off!

I was on vacation for last week and attended a conference for several days, so I was not cooking at home which made this week a great way for me to test my resolve to make better choices, no matter what the situation. I am attempting to make a lifestyle change here, and I know that I can’t always be in complete control of everything, all I can do is make the best choices possible, from what is available to me.

The weather last week was very uncooperative again, so I had a very inactive week again. The weather was either rainy, or too hot to get out to exercise and as a result, my Fitbit step report is not looking good.
