I finally made it through lesson 4 of Tracy's quilt along over at It's A T-Sweets Day and I'm feeling pretty happy with what I've accomplished.
As I mentioned in my last post, Tracey @ It’s a T-Sweets Day is running a learn to quilt series as a Quilt Along and I've been following along, trying to make my first quilt. I found some beautiful fabric at Quilty Pleasures, a local quilting shop. If you live in the Ottawa area and are interested in quilting, I recommend checking them out. They have a fantastic fabric selection, and the ladies there are very friendly and helpful.
Tracey @ It's a T-Sweets Day is running a learn to quilt series as a Quilt Along, and I'm happy to say I've joined in. Last weekend I went shopping for my fantastic fabric (thanks to the ladies at Quilty Pleasures for all their assistance), and this past week I got all of my pieces cut by following Tracy's directions from lesson 2.
For as along as I can remember I've been envious of people who could produce beautiful quilts because I didn't possess that skill, and didn't have time to head out to a class to learn it. Those days will soon be over!
