My Weight Loss Journey – Weeks 74 to 82
Wow! I can hardly believe it’s been almost two months since I last posted! I want to apologize to everyone for just disappearing, and to all of you whose blogs I normally read and have been neglecting lately. I know I’ve mentioned in my last few posts (which were already becoming infrequent) that I was having a hard time staying motivated to write, and it appears that although I thought I was getting my groove back, I was wrong.
Romancing the Capital 2018
This past weekend was the Romancing the Capital book conference here in Ottawa. This was the fourth year for the conference, and I’m very happy to say that the organizer, Eve Langlais, is planning on doing another in 2019! Yay! As you may have guessed, this conference focuses on romance novels in all forms from sweet to well, basically whatever you can think of. This was my third year attending, and the second year in which my friend, Dianne, attended with me…and we are planning on attending next year as well, and maybe dragging along another friend or two.

New Release! Star Keeper – Legacy Hunter Book 2
Back in August I posted a review for a book, Queen Killer, book 1 of the new Legacy Hunter series by Chris Heinicke and Kate Reedwood. I’m so excited because book 2 in the series comes out today and I offered to help promote it! I met Kate about a year and a half ago at the first Romancing the Capital conference I attended in Ottawa, and soon became a big fan of her writing.
