I know, I know, I'm super late, yet again with this weeks blog post. I do have a valid excuse I think...you can tell me if you don't agree. I don't know how all of you blog, but I prefer to write on my laptop. I have (or had) all of my photo editing software there, and I find it more comfortable for typing. I started having a few issues with it a while ago. For one thing, the hard drive was getting full. Very, very, full...I kept having to delete files to make room for Windows updates. It had also been getting slower and slower, and just generally started acting up.
I am a week late with last week's post, so rather than post two updates back to back, I decided to once again combine the two. My computer is still not up and running...I'm having issues with the replacement hard drive and now I'm debating just biting the bullet and buying a new one. I have a couple more things I need to try before giving up, but it's slowing me down on the blogging front.
I'm having a hard time getting back into the regular blogging since returning from my trip. Partly because I just don't seem very motivated to write, and partly because my computer has been acting up. It takes forever to start up, and makes me not want to even turn it on. I have been using my iPad but I find it is not as nice for editing photos before I post them, and I can't type as accurately on it, which annoys me.
For those of you who follow my blog, I have finally made it back from my vacation and I'm trying desperately to get back into the swing of things! The cruise was incredible, and yes I indulged a little and as a result I gained 6.2 pounds over the last two weeks, but am I upset? Absolutely not.
Sadly, no yummy recipes again this week, and I'm super late posting my progress this week. My weigh in day was Monday, and it went well. I lost another 1.1 pounds, bringing me to a total of 96.1 pounds lost. My goal now is to try to keep making healthy choices for myself for the next two weeks while I'm on vacation and not in control of making all of my meals. This will be the true test to see if my resolve to make this a lifestyle change sticks.
