I have an obsession with tea that, until now, I have not talked about on my blog, and I’m sure some of you wondered why this blog is called Life, Tea, and Everything since I never talk about tea. Well that is about to change because I just got this year’s David’s Tea Advent Calendar, and I’m so excited! So get prepared because next month there will be 24 days (or as close to it as I can get) of tea reviews on my blog.
I think my love for tea started when I was a little girl. I was the oldest of four, I have 2 sisters and a brother, and once in a while my mom would make a cup of tea for just the two of us. We would often have it with a piece of toast with butter and jam, and to this day when I have a cup of tea with toast and jam, it makes me think of my mom.
Back when I was a kid, we always had Red Rose teabags in the house as they were considered the best, at least by my mom. Nowadays I have a large selection of loose leaf tea and I’ve become a bit of a tea snob at home (I never buy bagged tea at the grocery store anymore), but it doesn’t bother me to have tea from a teabag when I’m visiting someone else. Not everyone can be as tea obsessed as I am, after all!
All of this is to say that I love tea. I can’t wait for December so that I can share my obsession with you…I hope you’re all prepared!

I love tea too! My students think that that is all I drink. I have a large assortment of both bagged and loose and find favourites in both. I’ve been eyeing the David’s Tea advent calendar for a couple of years, but haven’t gotten it yet:( Can’t wait to hear your reviews!

I think its wonderful that you enjoy tea and like sharing that love with others. It’s also very special because of the fond memories tea conjures up from your past. 🙂
