I have a confession to make. I have never made candy (unless you count something dipped in melted chocolate) because the process always seemed so intimidating to me. So when I saw this month’s Fantastic Bake Along, I was excited to finally give it a go. It’s so wonderful to have a computer again! Another weekend has passed and I’m still installing software after replacing the hard drive, but soon my computer will be all up to date, and then things can get back to normal. Once again, I’m late to the point that I decided to double up on this post. Hopefully this is the last double post I’ll be making for a while!
I found this recipe book on sale a few years ago, and being the lover of tea that I am I just had to have it. The problem is, that I have never actually made anything out of it, so the other day when I came across it on my bookshelf, I decided it was time to change that. I browsed through it and came across this recipe for Earl Grey Loaf. Now Earl Grey tea is one of my favourite teas, so this decision was a no-brainer.
I am a week late with last week’s post, so rather than post two updates back to back, I decided to once again combine the two. My computer is still not up and running…I’m having issues with the replacement hard drive and now I’m debating just biting the bullet and buying a new one. I have a couple more things I need to try before giving up, but it’s slowing me down on the blogging front.
For those of you who follow my blog, I have finally made it back from my vacation and I’m trying desperately to get back into the swing of things! The cruise was incredible, and yes I indulged a little and as a result I gained 6.2 pounds over the last two weeks, but am I upset? Absolutely not.
