It’s creeping closer and closer to one year since I started this journey, and I keep creeping closer and closer to my next big milestone of losing 100 pounds. I’m not far from my short term goal of hitting 95 pounds down. I’ve found that small goals are important to keep me motivated so I set a lot of small goals in 5 pound increments. This week I made it another half pound closer. For those keeping track, I’m now down 91.3 pounds from my starting weight of 286, and I have 44.7 pounds to go to my goal weight.
Yay! I have a recipe to share with you this week! No, it’s not for the salmon patties from last week, I haven’t had a chance to perfect them yet, but I hope you won’t be disappointed with this recipe.
I’m a bit late this week, but I have great news, I’m almost to my next big milestone! When I weighed myself on Monday morning, I was down another 1.5 pounds for a grand total of 74.2 pounds. That’s right, I am less than a pound away from 75 pounds! My goal this week is to keep myself on track and make that milestone by next week.
The Fantastic Bake Along is hosted by Tami @tanglewoodknots, and Tracy @itsatsweetsday, if you’re interested in joining future bake-alongs here is how it works. I’m not sure how often I’ll be able to participate but I had to try this one after I saw the yummy looking results popping up in my feed. I’m also late posting my bake-along results because although I made it last weekend, I ended up with a migraine and was unable to post. Oh well, better late than never, right?
