My Weight Loss Journey – Week 44

I am finally back from my stay-cation. I decided that I needed a break from pretty much everything this past week, so other than looking for recipes, and commenting on other people’s blogs, I tried to stay off my computer. That meant no new posts for me from Christmas Day until now! It was hard, but also necessary for me after blogging about tea for almost 24 days straight. I do hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Fantastic Bake Along – Apples!

Tracey at It’s a T-Sweets Day! is hosting another bake along this month, and rather than a single recipe that everyone is making, this month the bake along has a theme. Apples! Our instructions this month were to choose a favourite recipe featuring apples, and make it for the bake along.

Fantastic Bake Along – Chili/Chocolate Bread

My post is a bit late, as usual. I had planned to have it posted yesterday, but unfortunately by the time I got around to starting it, I had a headache, and my photo editing software required an upgrade…which required more disc space on my computer, so I had to rearrange some things. By the time I was done, I was no longer in the mood to write, so here I am on Sunday morning, trying to get my thoughts together for this bake along.

Fantastic Bake Along – Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Tracy at It’s a T-Sweets Day! has asked me to contribute a recipe this month for the Fantastic Bake Along so I wracked my brain trying to think of something, and finally came up with this recipe for oatmeal chocolate chip cookies which my grandma used to make when I was a kid. (That was a long, long, time ago for those wondering.) I haven’t made this recipe in years (and have only actually attempted it once or twice), but it has been on my mind lately, since I’ve been thinking about her.
